Privacy notice

This notice covers the Ohmeris website at ohmeris.com. The website is run by Taproot Systems, Inc. (“we”), P.O. Box 1302, Ridgefield, WA 98642, United States. The Ohmeris app itself is not open yet; it will have its own notice before it opens, covering accounts, projects and payments.

What we collect

• Your email address, if you join the waitlist. The waitlist form sends the address you type to Kit (kit.com, formerly ConvertKit), the email service we use. Kit also records technical details of the sign-up, such as the time and whether you confirmed the address. We do not ask for your name or anything else.
• Server logs. The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel logs each request: your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser's user agent and the referring page. We use these logs only to run, secure and fix the site.
• Email you send us. If you write to hello@ohmeris.com, we keep your message and address to answer it.

What we do not do

• The website has no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and no social-media embeds.
• The website does not set cookies. Fonts, images and videos are served from our own domain.
• We do not sell or rent your email address, and we do not share it with anyone except the processors named here.

Why we use your email

We use your waitlist email to tell you when Ohmeris opens, to invite you to try it, and to send occasional product news. Kit sends a confirmation email first; you are on the list only after you confirm. Every email has an unsubscribe link. For visitors in the EU and UK, the legal basis for this is your consent, which you give by joining the waitlist and can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.

Who processes your data

• Kit, for the waitlist and our emails. See Kit's privacy policy.
• Vercel, for hosting and request logs. See Vercel's privacy policy.

Both companies are in the United States, so your data is processed there. Transfers from the EU and UK are covered by Kit’s and Vercel’s data processing agreements, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Waitlist emails stay with Kit until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Vercel keeps request logs for the short period set by our hosting provider, at most 30 days.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from any email. You can also email hello@ohmeris.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and we will answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The waitlist is for people aged 16 and over. If you are younger, please ask a parent or teacher to join for you.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. When the app opens, this page will be extended to cover it. See also the terms of use.
